Ringley Park Rangers 5 - 0 Hindsford GP

Manager's Report by Des Morris

A Hindsford team boosted by last weeks away win went to Ringley and for 10 minutes played like world beaters. It then all went horribly wrong. They got out of the game exactly what they deserved, NOTHING. Their confidence quickly went as Ringley piled on the pressure scoring 3 before half time. In the second half nothing much improved and Ringley scored a further 2 goals as Hindsford laid down and died without so much as a whimper.

Where are the voices on the field? When the going gets tough we need players to pull us together and encourage us to stand up to the opposition. Ringley Park simply walked all over us and we stood back and let them. They are no better than us yet the score does not lie: 5-0.

Saturday 25th March - Ringley Park Away

Sorry folks, the pictures have had to be removed until we have permission slips filled in by parents. I hope to do this on Saturday and by next Wednesday at the latest.

Meanwhile, we're playing Ringley Park away on Saturday, so meet on Alldays car park at 9.am. Let's hope for the same sort of effort, enthusiasm and result we had last Saturday.

P.S. If any of the information in this blogsite is wrong or incomplete, please let me know either in the comments section of the message or by sending an e-mail to martyn.jones@hotmail.co.uk

Cleavely's 0 - 3 Hindsford

WOW - What a game that was!

Probably the best we've seen our team play this year. The team was full of the commitment and enthusiasm needed to win matches. The goalies kept a clean sheet, the midfield passing and ballplay was beautiful, the defence stood firm and the attack kept scoring - what more can you ask?

It was so good I'm sure the cars were stopping on the motorway to watch! I only wish it had been on 'Match of the Day' so I could watch it again.

Man of the Match - Damon Greenhalgh on a hat trick - didn't get to keep the ball though :(

Why not send in your own match report in the comment section below? If you want to post new messages here (like this one), put your e-mail address in the comments so I can make you a member.

Or you can e-mail me at martyn.jones@hotmail.co.uk

See you at training !

Players Chat Room

The Players' Chat Room is a place where you can chat live just with Hindsford GP team members. It is very similar to MSN Messenger and has coloured text, smileys, and sounds to send with your chat.

It does need the latest version of Java to be installed on your computer (if you haven't got it already), but that's easy to do and I've put the instructions in the comment section of this message.

To start chatting, enter a User Name in the window below and then click the 'Connect' button. Wait until the message 'You have joined room: Players_Chat - Welcome to our live chat room!' appears. Then type your messages into the bottom line and click the 'Send' button on the right.

To make the chat room bigger or fill the screen, click the 'Float or Unfloat' button with four arrows on it, which is on the icon bar just above the chat line.

If you have a broadband connection, this will allow the lads to chat to each other safely (no-one else is likely to be in The Players Chat room except us) and for free.

I've also made a permanent link to the Players' Chat Room on the right hand side, so when this message eventually disappears, it will always be available there.

Happy Chatting

Martyn
